Dear God,
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we don’t give up.” (Galatians 6:9) Lord, you are so gracious to us…worthy is the One who fashions fading hearts anew. Thank you, God, for giving us perseverance, grace, and grit to not give up! You give us what we need to keep going, and then you bless us –yet again– with the harvest-reaping!
There is no one like you, God. You are full of reverence, light, and purity. As we –your people– dwell here on earth, may we always invite you into our circumstances, emotions, and desires, for you can fashion and refashion all such things for eternal impact.
God, thank you for giving your children access to you; it is a gift to know you! Because of your Son’s sacrifice on the cross, now we can be at peace with you. Because you gifted us with your Holy Spirit here when Christ ascended into heaven, we can be in union with you in a special way until we dwell with you in glory.
O King of All Kings, please teach us how to build beautiful, effective relationships. May the basis of our fellowship grow established in the Spirit’s attributes (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control). May we always strive to create righteously-built relationships. Surely we enjoy our fellowship all the more!
Praise be to you, Father. Thank you for inspiring us and renewing our minds so that we can better understand you. Amen.
In love,
Your lowly daughter Julia
Be confident. Be fearless. But remember to be humble.
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
